The Lymm Dickensian Christmas Festival
will take place on
Saturday, 14th December 2024
11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Lymm Dickensian is organised and run by a small group of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. The festival continues to grow from strength to strength, attracting new stalls and entertainment each year.

The day commences at 11:00 am where visitors can browse a varied selection of stalls and enjoy entertainment provided by local schools, choirs, bands, dramatic groups and street entertainers.

Road Closures

The village centre will be closed to traffic from 8:00am, this is to allow for the various stalls to setup. Roads will re-open at 5:30pm.

Residents located in the centre of the village will receive a letter explaining about road closures.

Santa Dash and the Grand Parade

The Santa Dash
The start of the parade begins at 1:30pm when around 250 Santa’s make a dash through the village to the finishing line.

The Grand Parade
The parade follows on shortly behind the Santa Dash and heads towards the village centre, to cheers and a warm welcome from spectators.
