Thousands of spectators line the village centre to cheer on the 250 Santa’s as they dash through the village, run down the Trans Pennine Trail and finish at Sow Brook, where they each receive a finisher’s souvenir.

The Dickensian Grand Parade

Lymm Dickensian Parade

Following the sad passing earlier this year of Peter Powell, Lymm’s long-standing town crier, we welcome Peter’s grandson, AJ Powell to his new role as Lymm’s town crier. AJ will lead the parade through the centre of the village finishing at the Golden Fleece pub.

The Grand Parade begins on the junction of Brookfield Road and Dane Bank Road (near Brookfield GP Surgery) at 1:30 pm and follows the directions on the map below.
